ABOUT CODECRAFT

Built for developers who’d rather ship

We started CodeCraft because too much of an engineer’s week goes to code nobody wants to write. We’re building the AI that takes it off your plate — without taking control away from you.

OUR STORY

From weekend project to developer platform

CodeCraft began in 2021 as a weekend experiment by two engineers tired of writing the same boilerplate on every project. The first version did one thing: turn a sentence into a typed React component that matched the codebase it lived in.

Early users kept asking for more — API routes, tests, refactors. What they didn’t ask for was another chat window. They wanted changes they could review like any other pull request. That idea became the heart of the product.

Today more than 20,000 developers use CodeCraft to ship faster without giving up control. We’re still a small, remote team — and we still review every generated change like it’s our own code.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Principles we build by

The same principles guide the product we ship and the way we work together.

Developers stay in control

CodeCraft suggests; you decide. Every change is reviewable, reversible and yours.

Small, reviewable changes

We ship in small increments — and expect our product to do the same.
